Lac de Chambon

The lake is man made, created by the Eguzon Dam(Barrage d'Eguzon) on the Creuse River. It is an hydroelectric dam. There are beaches around the lake and a number of watersports are available. Sailing, canoes, kayaks and pedalos can be hired in season. The lake is also very popular with waterskiers and anglers.
